By participating, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Promoter, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
These terms apply to all Heron Foods promotions and competitions, including supplier-supported giveaways.
Eligibility:
Open to UK residents only. No current Heron Foods employees are eligible to win or claim prizes for any external competition run by Heron Foods and will be exempt if they enter or try to claim a prize at any given point.
Winner Selection & Notification:
Winner(s) will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received. Winner(s) will be notified via the email address provided (or via the social media account used to enter) within 5 days of being selected.
If a selected winner does not respond to the initial contact, the Promoter will make one further attempt to get in touch. If no response is received within 7 days of the second contact, the winner’s claim to the prize will be forfeited. Failure to claim the prize in accordance with these terms will lead to forfeiture of the prize.
Prizes:
Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned.
There is no cash alternative for the prizes, except at the discretion of the Promoter, who reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part with another of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
It is the responsibility of the winner to liaise with the prize provider to redeem the prize.
General:
Heron Foods Ltd reserves the right to terminate, amend, or extend any prize giveaway in wholly exceptional circumstances beyond its control.
The Promoter’s decision is final in all situations, including those not covered above, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Legal:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
By entering, all participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and consent to the use of their information by the Promoter and Service Provider for the purpose of administering the competition. Your information will not be shared with any third party without consent.
Competitions for under-18s:
Where competitions are open to children (aged 15 or under) or young persons (aged 16–17), age requirements will be stated. We reserve the right to require that a parent or guardian of any person aged under 18 confirms in writing that they agree to these terms and will accept any prize on behalf of an under-18 prize winner.
Full or part completed cards can be redeemed at any time against the purchase of goods (excluding National Lottery and PayPoint services) in any Heron Foods Store.
Savings stamps cannot be redeemed in store for cash. No change will be given for part payment with a savings stamp.
A completed card with £29 worth of savings stamps, when redeemed is worth £30. PLEASE NOTE partially completed cards do not qualify for the £1 bonus.
When you have completed the card, or saved all you want, simply hand it to a Heron Foods cashier when you shop. The amount saved (plus £1 if you are redeeming the full amount of £29 in savings stamps) will be deducted from your shopping bill (subject to the restrictions set out above).
Cards cannot be partially redeemed. For example, if you have a card with 20 stamps on (£20) you cannot redeem only 10 of these stamps (£10), you must redeem all the stamps on the card.
ENSURE YOU KEEP YOUR SAVINGS STAMP CARD SAFE as Heron Foods Limited is not responsible for lost cards and you will be unable to redeem your savings stamps without a valid savings stamp card.
Stamp Cards are the property of Heron Foods Limited.
In these terms and conditions, references to “your money” means the money you use to purchase savings stamps.
Your money is transferred by Heron Foods Limited to be pooled with other money of Heron Foods Limited. Please note the following:
Any interest on the monies held in the account is held absolutely for Heron Foods Limited and your money does not accrue interest;
Savings stamps are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsmen service.
Heron Foods Limited reserves the right to withdraw this scheme at any time, after which savings stamps may be redeemed for up to 6 months from the date of withdrawal.
Save for the above savings stamps are valid for a minimum of 2 years from purchase and the expiry date is printed on the stamp. Stamps that have expired cannot be redeemed or transferred.
If we believe that your savings stamp card or your savings stamps have been copied or otherwise replicated or we otherwise suspect that your claim is fraudulent or not genuine, we reserve the right to refuse redemption of your savings stamps.
Heron Foods Limited is registered as a data controller under the Data Protection Act 2018. We will only use the information you have provided on the card for administrative purposes (unless you have also agreed to receive promotional emails) and always in accordance with our privacy policy which is available at heronfoods.com or available in your local Heron Foods Store.
