Our store at 251 – 253 Walsgrave Road is due for a makeover and will offer new and extended ranges of products. The revamped store is scheduled to reopen at 8am on Thursday, 5 March 2020.
As well as securing 12 existing jobs, the refurbishment will also create five new part-time sales assistant positions. The quickest and easiest way to apply for these vacancies is by visiting the Heron Foods Careers website. Closing date for applications is the Monday, 2 March 2020.
We will be giving away goodie bags worth over £5 to the first 100 customers who spend over £5 in store. Five of the goodie bags will contain an additional bonus of £50 worth of Heron Foods vouchers. Customers will also be able to pick up money-off coupons, which can be redeemed in the first three weeks following the reopening.
Store manager, Jenny Archer, who has worked for Heron Foods for nearly a year, said:
We are building on our existing reputation in the area and improving our offering to customers with expanded chilled, ambient and frozen ranges. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers when we reopen on Thursday 5 March.
Heron Foods – Walsgrave will be open every day Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
Coventry-based charity, Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice will be on hand to help reopen the store and will be given £250 as a thank you from Heron Foods.
