Heron Foods, the frozen, chilled and grocery business with hundreds of stores across the Midlands, North of England and South Wales has announced they will be opening a new store in Netherfield, MK6, which is scheduled to open on Monday, June 25, 2018.
Situated at Netherfield District Centre, the new store, which offers 3,000+ sq. ft. of retail space has been made available thanks to a reconfiguration of ground floor retail units at the shopping centre, less than a 10 minute drive from Milton Keynes centre.
The opening of the store has created 17 new jobs in Milton Keynes, including 2 duty manager, 3 senior part-time sales assistant & 12 part-time sales assistant roles.
The store itself will be a convenient, bright and attractive place to shop, offering a huge range of grocery products as well as a free to use cash machine.
Managing Director, Tony Dobbs, said: “We are building on our great value reputation and bringing our low prices every day to new customers in Milton Keynes. We have an expanded range of chilled, frozen and everyday groceries, non-food items and supplemented with a tailored number of customer services.
“We’ll be marking the official store opening with a series of giveaways between Wednesday, 27th June & Friday 13th July. In total, we’ll be giving away 1,800 grocery items over this period to customers spending £5 in store who use the coupons from our leaflet, which was sent to around 6,500 households in the local area.”
Netherfield District Centre is situated in the southern area of the city at the heart of a substantial residential catchment of 10,000 people, plus 2,600 staff working in MK General hospital directly opposite the shopping centre and benefits from over 120 free customer parking spaces.
