There was plenty of excitement in Marsh Farm, Luton today as we opened a new Heron Foods store.
The event was even more special as it’s the first to open in the county of Bedfordshire. What’s more, it’s also the furthest south we’ve ever opened a store, having predominantly opened stores up until now in the North of England and the Midlands.
The store opening comes as a huge boost to the local economy thanks to the creation of more than 12 jobs.
Visitors to the 2,500 sq. ft. store, based in Marsh Farm District Centre, will be able to browse a wide range of branded goods at the lowest price on the high street.
Commercial Director, Mike Igoe, said:
The new team have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and – even though we encountered a short delay – we’re excited to get the doors open and show the good people of Luton what Heron Foods is all about!
