We have today reopened our Bentilee store, following a full store revamp. The refurbished store at 30 Devonshire Square will offer a wider selection of products and is a boost to the local community with two new jobs created.
To mark the occasion, we gave away goodie bags worth over £5 to the first 100 customers who spent over £5 in store. Five of the goodie bags contained an additional bonus of £50 worth of Heron Foods vouchers. Customers were also able to pick up money-off coupons.
Store manager, Jordan Hallsworth, who has worked for Heron Foods for five years and started as a part-time sales assistant, said:
We are building on our existing reputation in the area and improving our offering to customers with expanded chilled, ambient and frozen ranges. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers.
Heron Foods – Bentilee will be open every day Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
Local charity, Douglas Macmillan Hospice known locally as ‘Dougie Mac’ were on hand to help reopen the store and were given £250 as a thank you from Heron Foods. Dougie Mac provides all their hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 patients with life-limiting illnesses in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding villages, also offering supportive care to their families and carers.
